Erasmus is an Assistant Professor at UCLouvain, Belgium, contributing to Trase since 2018. Erasmus built Trase's inaugral map Brazilian beef exports and co-founded the do Pasto ao Prato citizen science initiative (https://www.dopastoaoprato.com.br/) to track the movement of beef products within the Brazilian domestic market. Erasmus has a PhD on sustainable livestock production and Master in Food Security from the University of Cambridge.
