Brazil - Deforestation for pasture

Pasture deforestation is the estimate of the amount of deforestation across a five-year allocation period that is associated with animal rearing in a given year. To calculate it, we overlapped the annual pasture maps from MapBiomas with the annual territorial deforestation five years prior to the target year for pasture, including the year the pasture was detected.
