Michael leads Trase's Research and Development team and is a member of the Trase Management team. He is an ecohydrologist and water footprint specialist and works on developing supply chain maps in South America and product water footprints. Before joining Trase, he conducted research in Brazil and studied both water and carbon cycles in natural and agro-ecosystems. He holds a Ph.D in Resources, Environment and Sustainability from the University of British Columbia.
