Vinícius Silgueiro

Vinícius is a forestry engineer specializing in integrated management of production systems in the Legal Amazon, and he holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences. He joined the Instituto Centro de Vida (ICV) in 2010 and currently serves as the Territorial Intelligence Coordinator. In this role, he leads the development and implementation of territorial intelligence strategies, focusing on geotechnology adoption, spatial data management, and complex socio-environmental analyses. Vinícius’s work directly involves analyses concerning the characterization and legality assessment of deforestation and timber harvesting, as well as monitoring forest fires, areas dedicated to soy and beef production, and the implementation of the Brazilian Forest Code.
