Jailson Soares

Jailson is an Environmental Engineer and Data Scientist who joined Trase in 2025. He analyzes land use dynamics in tropical countries using advanced geospatial techniques to promote transparency and uncover deforestation risks. Before joining Trase, Jailson worked at IMAZON, where he was part of the MapBiomas network, contributing to the mapping of land use and land cover across Brazil. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the State University of Pará (BSc., 2016).
