Ghana - Cocoa area
Years available: 2020
Data last updated: 10 Dec 2024
This metric represents the area of cocoa plantations in hectares (ha) for the years 2019–2021 per department in Côte d'Ivoire based on cocoa farming maps at 10 metre resolution. Cocoa maps were obtained from (Kalischek et al., 2023) and based on Sentinel-2 images taken between January 2019 and December 2021. Because this dataset was based on images taken in a three year time span, Trase distributes the same cocoa area in all years, from 2019 to 2021.
